Food Service

The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced that their expanded authority to issue nationwide waivers related to pandemic conditions expired on June 30, 2022. Therefore, we now begin the transition back to normal USDA program operations, which means as of July 1, 2022, the school meals will no longer be free for all students.  Students that are directly certified through the state will receive free meals, while all other students are eligible to apply for free/reduced meals by completing an application, which can be found below.

It is our goal to meet all of the USDA meal pattern standards, while at the same time, serving our students appealing and satisfying meals. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our food service program, please contact Food Service Director, Cynthia Smith, at 217-357-3922.

Middle School Share Table

August 21, 2018

A "Share Table" has been added to the Middle School cafeteria, which allows students to donate their unopened cartons of milk, prepackaged fruits/vegetables and unpeeled fruits for other students to enjoy.  Items are placed on the table at the beginning of each serving period and students are allowed to take what they want during the lunch period.  Please encourage your student to utilize the "Share Table" and help us cut down on wasted food/milk and students having to pay for extra milk.
