The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball game must be cancelled tonight due to not having heat in the gym. We had a serviceman working on it today and it cannot be fixed in time to host the game. We will update the athletic events tab on the website when it is rescheduled.
There will be a parent meeting for 5th & 6th grade girls interested in playing volleyball tomorrow, December 2nd, at 5:30p.m. in the middle school gym. Practice will follow immediately after the meeting and end at 7:30p.m.
The 7th and 8th grade parent meeting is planned to take place during the week of December 16th.
Come cheer on the Bluegirls to 8th Grade Regional Victory vs. West Fulton Wildcats tonight at 5:30p.m. at Illini West. Entry fee is $5 per person.
Today, November 26th, 2024, there will be an early dismissal for Kindergarten through 8th grade. There will be no school for Pre-K. Dismissal times are as follows. Shuttle Bus at CPS will pick up in the East Parking lot at 12:20. Everyone else at the Primary will dismiss at 12:30. CMS will dismiss at 12:35.
Remind students to dress appropriately for cold weather.
Per our student handbook, recesses will be outside unless the temperature "Feels like" below 25 degrees by our thermometer or conditions of active rain. We will use this as a general guide. Conditions of mud or snow cover will also affect when students go out.
